Khan almost got knocked out by Maidana. He was running around the ring on spaghetti legs in the 10th round of that fight. And Maidana fought a much better and a much dirtier fight against Mayweather and didn't even come close to knocking him out. You say Floyd was whining but you don't mention the fact that he was low blowed, rabbit punched, kicked, bitten, tackled and body slammed in both fights. In the first fight there was a referee that allowed it to happen without even a warning. Maidana was extremely dirty. Not just a little. So in that context claiming that Mayweather was whining takes on a different light. Mayweather beat Maidana twice in a row against the odds after the best win of Maidana's career. I'd say those two fights prove just how good he really is, not the opposite

I'm just not sure. My thing is it depends on what Floyd shows up, u know. The Floyd that goes back and fights off the ropes against Maidana and Cotto? IMO that Floyd get's his azz whipped by Khan TBH. A Floyd that will counter and time Khan in the center of the ring schools Khan. My question is can Floyd still do that at 38? Not so sure. These past few fights Floyd hasn't been staying the the middle of the ring consistently, tells me the legs getting a little heavy now..we have to remember Floyd will be 38. Things can change over night at this age, testosterone begins declining at age 30.

See people always talk about what one has done 3 fights ago, but we don't live in the past we live in the present, Canelo is no where near as quick and doesn't have the footwork Khan has, not that Khan could go up to 154 and beat him, but styles make fights at the end of the day. No one can get around the fact that Floyd is going on 38 while Khan is a prime 28. The world saw Floyd's last 2 fights, and he didn't look invincible against Maidana he actually looked vulnerable and IMO the reason he did fight him twice which was clearly unnecessary was to see just how much he was slipping. Lately we have seen Khan improving and Mayweather declining and whining quite frankly.. Like I said still a Floyd fan but clearly Floyd is trying to cash out and wants no part in a risky fight like Khan who will threaten his 0 on activity and punch output alone...I don't know who would win but as I look at most of the options out there Khan is by far Floyd's biggest threat. Their approach and execution is what seperate's them - If Khan can't get in position to use his fast feet and quick hands then what? Like I posted he does not have the ring smarts - look at how he is begging for the fight and you might have gotten a sentence out of Floyd regarding this. Personality says a lot about fighting personality - Khan used to punch then move his feet and stand there and admire his work after throwing punches - sounds like his personality - arrogant and anxious - do not get me wrong Khan is a very good and capable fighter, but Floyd has too many intangibles, do you really think Floyd is going to let Khan carry the fight like he did vs Devon?????? Floyd dictates the pace of the fight and also the negotiations - Khan does not posses the patients it will take to dissect a 38 year old Floyd !

garcia has power. floyd doesn't. garcia holds his ground. floyd backs up until he finds the right time to throw. thats why he ends up on the ropes so much. he has good defense against slow righties on the ropes but khan would make him hesitant and super defensive since floyd struggles against speed.floyd's occasional potshots wouldn't be enough to win him the fight. its a good duck since he probably loses

Khan has plenty ring smarts maybe not as much as Floyd but then again can Floyd capitalize off those ring smarts at 38? You keep ignoring the fact that Floyd will be 38. Take the Khan that fought Alexander and the Floyd that fought Maidana twice and you have a pretty good match up high risk fight for Floyd. If Maidana was able to land the punches he did then surely Khan will be able to...

That's kinda what I'm getting at, If Floyd can't up his punch out put against Khan he will be in a defensive position all night while Khan steals rounds throwing those flashy combo's.. You can say what you will Khan's annoying, he's been KO'ed but at the end of the day Floyd hasn't fought anybody like Khan closest thing to him in terms of speed and size was probably the over the hill Oscar Floyd fought and beat by a narrow SD.
