Give me a fckn break... Truth is, both Floyd and pac seem to be taking it easy lately and I'm tired of both boxers fans only blaming **** on the opposite corner

Can't wait til they both get the hell outta boxing and let the next wave of hungry boxers take over....

It's an ok win. Dude beat Ruslan who was going to fight Pacquiao, took his belt and was undefeated. Had the style that on paper at least appeared would give Pacquiao a lot of problems (and it may have if he fought a better fight, like he did in round five). With the in-house fighting options were limited. I'd rather see a fresh face and a guy coming off a big win versus a recycled opponent coming off a loss.
Anyway it is what it is. Nothing great, just a win against an undefeated, decent title holder.
My only gripe was that it wasn't PPV worthy. It was a regular HBO quality fight.
Options were and still are limited. Al Haymon has 140-147 pretty much on lock and as of right now, no Haymon vs Top Rank fights are happening, which sucks ass. I'd love to see Pacquiao vs Keith Thurman, Danny Garcia, etc. And for that matter, I'd love to see the top Haymon fighters fighting each other as well, but they aren't. At least Algieri is good on paper compared to salka. Algieri is a boxer who will will box and potshot his opponent to win. Isn't this type of opponent we want to see Pacquiao fight instead of the flat footed opponents. Algieri defeats Provo too while salka defeats ?????
The reason why he can't fight other welterweights is because of Al Haymon Protection Services. Kell Brook and Chavez(not sure) are the remaining opponent for ww he can fight who are not al haymon fighters aside from Bradley and Marquez. I hope Arum can get kell to fight Pacquiao.

Floyd has all the option yet he chooses to cherry pick flat footed opponents instead of challenging himself (like fighting pacquiao or khan).

Let's forget Manny was coming off a brutal knockout and year layoff, I give Rios a pass. Algieri is trash though I give you that but Rios gets overblown a bit, if Floyd faced Rios after being knocked unconscious and having a year out of the sport I would have no problem with it. Even Hopkins said Rios is not the best opponent for someone coming off of what Manny was coming off.Comment

YES they were the absolute BEST outside of Pacman and ALL of them thrashed their way into the top 3 in the division. Floyd had to change his entire fighting style to beat Ghost btw.
And when Ortiz beat the snot out of Berto, Lampley said; "NO one will fight Ortiz" Once Floyd chose him as an opponent he changed his mind and said "Floyd only fought him because he doesnt throw a jab"
All of Floyd's opponents are dangerous but their bums because YOU and a bunch of Floyd haters say they are? They all were young and big af, outweighing him by 15lbs, and he made them look foolish.
All of Floyd's opponents are the same. The absolute best in the division and whoever gets into the top 3, automatically is in line for a Floyd fight. Pac fights bums.Comment

I love these threads because it shows how jealous and angry Flowmos and black power racists get when Pacquiao gets more love and props when Pac fights a guy like Algieri, they start whining saying who do he get a pass? why Floyd cant get that type of unconditional love, that is something the evil villian craves in movies its why he hates on the hero because the people love him and he wants that.
Here is an example, from Gladiator, Pacquiao is Maximus the humble peoples champion, and commodus is the whiny cry baby insecure lavish living guy who drains blood from Maximus to have an advantage over him in the fight and still loses.
Commodus Mayweather challenges Maximus Pacquiao, and Maximus says you will fight me? and Commodus says why not do you think im afraid and Maximus says I think you'vve been afraid all your life shanks him lol.

It's kind of ironic; many on this forum said Pacquiao was all but done after he got KO'd by Marquez. Since then, he has beaten Rios, who had only one previous loss and was rather feared. He then beat undefeated Timothy Bradley and undefeated Algieri. Granted, Algieri is not in Pac's league, but he beat Provodnikov (officially at least), who had given Bradley hell. Yet these same posters who said Pacquiao was done are now accusing him of cherry picking. So which is it? You can't have it both ways.Comment

I just wished posters would focus more on raising hell at the young, prime ones, Thurman, Broner, Garcia, Matthysse, Brook, etc. Can you imagine Pacquiao or Mayweather taking on Bundu, Karass, Salka, Molinas, Diaz, etc? Hell will break loose.Comment
