Jones got disqualified for battering & bloodying a deaf fighter with illegal elbows. He's never been beaten in the cage.

I never understood why some boxing fans cannot stand mma at all, come on, it's ****ing fighting! Sure you have some boring ass lay and pray guys like clay guida, but you also have monsters like aldo, Jr and showtime pettis who are like ninjas

Thankfully, the ufc has realized their ppvs were mostly ****ty this year and are actually coming up with good cards the next three months or so and it starts this saturday

Anyway, I've said that Cormier would defeat Jones back when rumors first started of him dropping to 205 so I have to back him. I think he'll go with Cains game plan against Dos Santos in the re matches and completely smother bones. Side question: who do you think won Jones vs gustaffson? I had gus winning clearly

How are they jealous?! 99% of them don't even know who these two guys are you moron.... I was a major MMA fan back in the day, not so much now but I do keep tabs on the sport & even I know that this fight is in no way shape or form the most anticipated fight ever! Are you serious?! Its not even the most anticipated LHW fight ever! Not even close...

Boxing fans, keep waiting on that Floyd/Manny fight for another 5 years
Since it is the most anticipate fight of all time, it should shatter the MMA PPV record of 1.4 million and sell at least 2 million PPVs. In fact, it could go as high as 3 million because this guy, DC, is a household name. Don't you think?

Why are boxing fans obessed with PPV numbers and how much money fighters make? MMA fans care about one thing, and thats getting to watch the best possible fights get made.

UFC gives the fans watered down crap, they got away with it for years but now people aren't buying the PPVs.

And no it isn't getting bigger, if anything it's fading fast.

As bad as 2014 has been for boxing, it was even worse for MMA.

But this is a great fight, and a nice way to start the year.
