LOL NO ONE, and I mean NO ONE in mainstream media cares about Jones/Cormier. The non-entity that is Floyd vs Pac has generated more press than this fight has. MMA has been doing absolutely atrocious numbers lately, and the fact this marquee fight has no buzz doesn't bode very well for it.

Also, the styles of DC and Jones will make for a TERRIBLE fight. 30 seconds of standup and 4 and half minutes of manlove on the ground/against the cage every round. Especially if cormier is going to have any success at all.

                Truth.

Jones either out strikes him for the majority of the fight, or DC slips a punch and takes him down for 4 minutes each round.

I'm trying to get back into the UFC again. I like both sports, but I like boxing way more due to the stand up oriented style. You get more of a true fight. The ground game has turned into a rest session, it disrupts the flow.

I have seen some of the buildup clips for this fight and they are very entertaining. Thanks for bringing this up.

This will be a good fight. I'm wondering that nobody has posted the brawl of Cormier and Jones at the MGM. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rf_WWMTR9LU

I've been watching UFC on off since the Ortiz/Shamrock days. I haven't heard of DC until the Jones fiasco at the presser.

I think that's all it is, they have some bad blood, which makes it exciting, but in terms of actual rivalry to legendary status, this fight isn't all that.
