I think this is definitely part of it. Bob can take manny to china and still make money so he isn't trying to make the fight. But trying to leverage the cotto/canelo fight? really? no wonder haymon is making cotto offers and cotto hasn't signed on for the canelo fight yet.

I already told you, I do not follow or listen to anything Bob, Ellerbe, or Haymon say as Gospel and expect nothing less than lies, or monopolies. They and ARUM are full of sht. INSERT: Any promoters name, decides to have Hispanic fighters secure May 2. If Floyd's big ego somehow accepts that, he shows maturity. If he has a hissy fit over having someone else compete on that date, that is acting like a child. My bet is he will do anything to WIN the battle for that date because his ego cant handle it. UNLESS, there is something he weighs as being more important than that date in particular. And Showtime is not going to be willing to lose money on Floyd so lets see what happens next.

As far as I know its been one-way traffic on Mannys side trying to make it. As I understand it, Les Moonves is in contact with the Mayweather camp and not getting anywhere, Dan Rafael said during Fridays chat session on ESPN.com.

They're pretty much arguing that the entire boxing calendar should be rearranged however Arum decides or his fighters don't have to fight anyone.
