The sad thing is Reed agreed with my request to name the POY award the Samuari award in honor of one of the best posters ever on this site.Last edited by The Big Dunn; 12-29-2014, 01:45 PM.

The Use of the word deadline may be strong, but I don't think it's misplaced. Essentially it's still a deadline. Khan will move on with or without Mayweather in January regardless of what's going on with a potential Pac fight.

Once again. Khan is a good fighter. I just wish he would focus more on being that than just focusing on Mayweather. If he would have done that a year ago instead of idiotically backing out of a fight that we know now he would have won easily, and became a world welter weight champion in the process, he would probably have fought Mayweather already by now. Instead it looks like he's doing the same thing again. He refuses to fight Kell Brook which would be a great postioning fight if he were to win. But with his run in with the likes of Danny Garcia and the disappointment that the loss inflicted upon him still lingering in the back of his head he doesn't want to take the chance of losing again before he gets a chance to go for the gusto with Mayweather. Its a shame because fights like Brook vs. Khan are what make boxing exciting. It's a championship fight between domestic rivals. No brainer. But Khan seems to have left his brain in Mayweather's jock strap. And excuses like Kell Brook disrespected him so he doesn't want to fight him sound about as brainless as some of Khan's decisions. The disrespect should make him want to fight him even more along with the fact that Brook is the owner of the belt that Khan would have been fighting Alexander for a year ago. At the end of the day Amir Khan is just not very smart and no where near as clever as he thinks he is being with his asinine public statements and ****** business decisions.
