According to former WBO middleweight champion Peter Quillin (31-0, 22KOs), there is no financial reward in accepting a fight with WBA/IBO/WBC interim-champion Gennady Golovkin (31-0, 28KOs).
Regarding a potential fight with Golovkin, Quillin says the opponents of the dangerous Kazakhstan puncher are not getting paid a lot of money [at least in comparison to what Quillin makes].

I'm all for fighters taking the big money fight, but what the hell is Quillin thinking here? GGG is probably more popular and would fill more arses in seats than Quillin.
If you don't want to fight the guy just say so. Say chocolate your pants at the mere though of getting in the ring with GGG.
Golovkin fans, Quillen isn't doing anything that your man himself hasn't done before.
All he is saying is that GGG doesn't make financial sense.
The problem is he's full of $h!t with this statement.
GGG would make more money for him than any real fight. He's not getting Cotto, Canelo, or Mayweather anytime soon. So tell me who would make sense?
