Khan on Maidana: I beat this guy easily, knocking him down and making him look silly

He did make him look silly, he was suppose to KO him in one round remember? You sig with Maidana landing one punch etc, khan box his head off with combinations, and moved off whenever Maidana got close till the 10th round and even when he got close and land his best and biggest shots he didn't KO that same weak china cheek Khan, that is making him look ******.
you do realize that it was a khan fan who made that picture right? it was supposed to be a joke ON maidana. it was only after that someone had put that "win by ko" on it. i think i've told you this before but you refuse to acknowledge it.Last edited by John Barron; 12-28-2014, 04:58 PM.Comment

It was a close fight, Khan's hardest earned victory yet.
It put both fighters on the map at 140.
I believe that Maidana was far too eager to put Khan away in the 9th, he did not pick his shots and take his time. If he did Khan would have been put to sleep.
It is always going to be the same for Khan when he takes on a puncher - when he gets tagged his legs just go and his only option for survival is toe to toe trading.
Cortez saved Khan in the 9th round.
But Khan won the fight.Comment

Wasn't Mayweather being hunted down the difference is Mayweather held for dear life, cried to the ref and made Madaina wear pillow gloves had Madina wore the same gloves he did against Khan he would have knock out MayweatherComment

Khan survived the fight against Maidana because of piece of excrement Joe Cortez. I am happy to know that Joe "Excrement" Cortez retired from refereeing professional boxing. Joe ruined that fight with his constant breaking and helping Khan to stay away from Maidana's rocking punches.Last edited by jjbj2; 12-28-2014, 05:35 PM.Comment

All I remember is Khan barely surviving at the end of that fight! One more round and he would have gotten stopped!Comment

It was a very good win for Khan, put his name out there at LWW and gained many hardcore fans respect, Khan certainly dominated Maidana for the first 3/4 of the fight but when Maidana caught him flush he took Khan to hell and back - I also think Ariza deserved a lot of credit for his conditioning on Khan for that fight, I think that's what kept Khan on his feet despite clearly being hurt.Comment
