You may include Broner. It would seem Haymon is giving them some sort of misguided security. They're too quick to drop big names knowing that Haymon won't let them fight those names, anyway. You'll never see them actually push for those fights. You'd wonder who they're addressing when they drop names. Who do they actually expect to make those fights for them? It's certainly not Ellerbe.Comment

When your Champ there's no thing as being brought up properly your suppose to defend your title against top ranked fighter not stiffsHe's being brought up properly. When he's ready Haymon and the networks will put the money behind him. How much was Diaz' purse against him? Like 90,000 or something like that. Your not going to get top contenders/champions in the ring for 90k. He's getting the kind of opponent they are paying for.Comment

Anyone who gives Quackenson more flack than Quillin or Santa Cruz is dead wrong. Quackenson is a punk but Quillin and Santa Cruz are the biggest clowns going right now. I hate saying that as a Santa Cruz fan but it's true.Yeah its easy to say you want to fight this guy and that guy when you have Al Haymon to hide behind.
Peter Quillin, Leo Santa Cruz, Keith Thurman, Adonis Stevenson, its no coincidence.
That said at least Stevenson who seems to get the most flack has fought pretty decent competition.
Thurman did try to make the Alexander fight happen and was ignored. Both Maidana and Guerrero have both said no. It's not like he's calling guys out and then not willing to fight them, he's legitimately being told no. That being said, if it happens again he needs to speak up about Haymon. If he doesn't, then I'll start to think he is happy calling people out and fighting lesser fighters.Comment
