Welterweight is stacked from the top to the bottom
How is Guerrero any better than Chaves? Because he got a shot at Floyd?(only to be embarrassed)

Ummm...Guerrero actually established himself as a top ten welterweight by beating one...Chaves, not so much...Guerrero has also beaten better fighters throughout his career than chaves, not taking anything away from him, he is a tough cookie....I think most organizations has Chaves top 15 and he just recently entered the top ten by the ring

I think he has the potential to take over the welterweight division after Mayweather retires.

Next year will be a big year for him if they put him in with the right opponents

          What do you guys think
Thurman v Porter would be perfect, setting up a fight with either Brook or winner of Khan/May/Pac.

Bradley v Thurman would be a great fight too.

It's definitely time for Keith to start fighting guys in the top 10. I think he will fight at least one lower top 10 opponent next year, maybe Alexander or Maidana. My gut feeling tells me it will be Maidana.

If Thurman could stop Porter that would be a pretty good win.

Hearn is in no hurry to put Brook in with Thurman. Porter didn't want it either.

I love how people think Thurman can just get in the ring with these guys.

Chaves has actually been elevated to the top 10 in both TBR and Ring. Alexander is out of the top 10.

Khan got himself into a #3 position relatively easily. Jesus.

Oh is it? Chaves is a good fighter, he was lucky to get a draw with Bradley but unlucky not to get the win against Rios. He's been competitive in all 3 of his big fights.

He's a tough dog with some skill, but I'd personally have him at #11 or #12.

If Haymon keeps him away from any top 10 WWs for his next fight, I'll be disappointed if Thurman doesn't speak up about it. Enough is enough. I don't think Alexander coming off the Khan loss is enough, either.
