Comments Thread For: Kameda Brothers Legally Move To Reverse JBC Ban

The company that manages the three boxing Kameda brothers said Saturday that the management of their Kameda Gym have filed a suit against the Japan Boxing Commission, claiming the gym’s de facto suspension is unreasonable.

The suit was filed with the Tokyo District Court by gym chairman Shinji Yoshii and manager Satoshi Shima, whose licenses the JBC has refused to renew, effectively prohibiting Kameda Gym fighters from competing in Japan. The measure taken in February was punishment for the confusion that tarnished Daiki Kameda’s IBF super flyweight title match in December last year.

Why can't politics just stay the **** out of the sport. All they want to do is fight.

As a fight fan who lives in Japan, I'd like to make it clear that this is absolutely freaking not the first time the Kameda brothers and their handlers have hurt the sport of boxing. As far as I'm concerned, these b**** need to be banned from the ring indefinitely.
