I'd like to see him fight more, but hey there are far less complaints about Andre Ward's inactivity. Funny how any Haye article brings out the venomous posters... yet the guy has serious power and can box well, fast, and accurately. So, besides, the 'toe incident' vs Wlad 3 1/2 years ago, there's really nothing to complain about except the inactivity... and BTW in case no one has noticed... injuries DO happen in boxing.

I look forward to seeing his return.

You must of somehow missed the Valuev-Haye fight. That only had to be one the absolute worst HW title fights in the history of the sport. I also don't believe the Harrison fight got anyone overly excited and was also actually pretty lame.

here are the facts: hes lost just twice. once years back against carl thompson in the 10th due to inexperience and once against the chinless 8itchko sister.
hes far better than "the americans" think, he is very quick, good defense and punches very hard at heavy weight. hes very well liked here in england and has genuine fan support (unlike the greedy little bum). however, if the 8itchko sister wer to fight outside of germany AND have a referee that is very watchful on the the 8itchkos wrestling holds and pushing then, we would have a new champ but, im not just talkin about david haye.....im talkin about anybody in the top 20 that can throw a decent shot. david haye would still be top draw over any other heavyweight out there. thing is, the idiots on here know it. lol

I guess I am a fan after all and I would love to see him back in action.
          This is a myth.

Povetkin is the best not named Klitschko.

Plenty of Floydie fights are boring as watching paint dry... same with Andre Dirrell and hundreds of others. As for the Valuev fight, I thought he did what was needed to win, and he did rock Valuev toward the end of the fight. Didn't watch the Harrison fight.

I didn't realize we were talking about Floyd or hundreds of other fights. And honestly I am not a big fan of him either as a fighter or as a human being. So I have probably only watched two Mayweather fights in my entire life, and they weren't even live. Well, that is not true because if you count the "Black Mamba" I have in fact watched most of his fights and he after all is also a Mayweather.

As far as the Haye-Valuev fight is concerned. I don't believe Haye even did enough to beat the Beast from the East. I also fell asleep so many times when I attempted to re-watch the fight that I am not sure if I can even give an honest assessment of it. And I also promised myself that I would never put myself through that torture again.

I also find it rather amazing how so many Haye fans put so much emphasis on Haye staggering him for about five whole seconds after eleven plus rounds of absolute boredom. But than again Haye did have that fake broken hand to contend with.

All that aside, if he comes back and stays injury free, he'll do well.

Haye vs Chisora looked like it could have gone either way right up to the finish.
Fury vs Chisora-2 was a one sided beat down from begining to end.

I also gave Chisora maybe 20 seconds of the 4th round. But other that there was nothing close or tough about the fight for Haye. So without any doubt what so ever Haye dominated Chisora before he violently knocked him out. And I actually wanted Chisora to win.
That is utter bull**** and if you really did watch Haye vs Chisora you know it.

You have gone so far overboard in your effort to make Fury look good that your mind has closed to reality. I am not even debating if Chisora hit Haye with more punches then he did Fury. I am only saying that after just watching that fight just two days ago that there was nothing remotely close about it. Hell, in my opinion the Vitali-Chisora fight was actually closer and Chisora may have won a couple of rounds but he still lost by a very wide decision. And I will say it again I wanted Chisora to beat Haye. But I am also not blind and most definitely could see that Haye dominated the fight. And in my opinion he did so rather easily.

The problem with Haye is that he doesn't even give his own fan base the opportunity to be fans. Because it is so obvious from the postings on this forum that so many of them have given up on him, and who can honestly blame them. I also have no doubt that Haye has the skills and power to possibly even be a great heavyweight. But whether or not he has the heart and or even the balls to do so is in my opinion still very very debatable.
