Purse split, date, location, ring size, judges, gloves, testing, cutoff dates, TV network, etc.

Pac is a establish fighter a big name unlike Mayweather at the time WHO WAS A NOBODY you got 2 A-sides here not one .Pac is not Robert guerrero or Hattan,Madina Canelo,JMM they had no say on anything . you cant even compare the situation to Oscar vs Mayweather

First I wasn't comparing anything. The poster I responded to said that De La Hoya chose the gloves for the fight against Mayweather, another poster said no because 10 ounce are the minimum size for gloves at jr middleweight. The first poster then back tracked and I explained there was no need to back track because De La Hoya did in fact choose the gloves.

But since you brought it up, it doesn't matter what Pac did years ago, all that matters is what his latest fights have done, and he is being out sold no contest. Mayweather makes double what Pac makes on guarantee, Mayweather's last 5 PPV totals doubled Pacs last 5 PPV and the price is higher for a Mayweather PPV, his fights with Cotto and Canelo alone are almost 4 million buys. Mayweather effectively doubles anything Pac does and there is nothing wrong with Mayweather expecting the negotiations to reflect that.

Pac's negotiating power is reflected in name alone and that's it. He may be the second biggest draw in boxing, but his numbers right now show him closer to the guys at 3 and 4, no where near #1.

Next time keep your response in context rather then looking foolish.

When de la Hoya fought mayweather de la.hoya was already one of the highest grossing ppv stars ever and Floyd only had 3 ppv fights that each sold.less than 400k and Floyd got half the money that Oscar did. Oscar made 50 mill Floyd 25. Now Floyd is treating Manny like Manny is in Floyds position vs Oscar, but there's only one problem. Manny is the second highest grossing ppv star ever who is just right behind Floyd in buys and gross. Floyd only averages about 20 percent more ppv buys than Manny so why does he deserve 200 percent more of the money which is basically what he would make if Manny accepted his lowball offer of 40 million. Since he only sells 20 percent more that would mean a fair split is 55/45 which is actually more than 20 percent. 60/40 would mean hes sold 1.5 times that of Manny but he hasn't so even that's a lowball offer yet Manny has said he would already accept that. Also ShowTime and HBO said they would work together yet Floyd is saying it has to be on ShowTime. For what reason? Its only another roadblock. He is going to try to wiggle his wife beating self out of this fight I guarantee it and then will come up with a bogus excuse like Manny wouldn't accept 35 million and that's more than he's ever made! Meanwhile he would be making 90 million and it would be the biggest lowball offer in history and Floyd walked away from 60/40 which is more than Floyd deserves. Pacquiao fans do not understand these facts. They always talk about how popular Manny is but his #'s don't compare. Arum/Manny are acting like they are supposed to be in control totally ignoring that Floyd is the A side in the match up. Before when they were neck and neck Floyd agreed to 50/50 but now that is not the case. I want and always wanted to see the fight but in my opinion Arum and Team Pacquiao have been the biggest obstacles to making this fight a reality. They seem content off of living off of Mayweather's name to sell Manny as a threat but never intend or fighting him. They just want to market Manny as Mayweather's equal because if they really felt Manny was then Bob would have made that fight happen years ago. Why Pacquiao fans continue to be blinded when everything is right there is beyond me because it really makes them look like JACK ASSES.
