Don't forgot the last superfight, de la Hoya-Mayweather, where oscar picked everything from the weight to the gloves to the ring size.

Floyd is just playing the game, he didn't write the rules.

When de la Hoya fought mayweather de la.hoya was already one of the highest grossing ppv stars ever and Floyd only had 3 ppv fights that each sold.less than 400k and Floyd got half the money that Oscar did. Oscar made 50 mill Floyd 25. Now Floyd is treating Manny like Manny is in Floyds position vs Oscar, but there's only one problem. Manny is the second highest grossing ppv star ever who is just right behind Floyd in buys and gross. Floyd only averages about 20 percent more ppv buys than Manny so why does he deserve 200 percent more of the money which is basically what he would make if Manny accepted his lowball offer of 40 million. Since he only sells 20 percent more that would mean a fair split is 55/45 which is actually more than 20 percent. 60/40 would mean hes sold 1.5 times that of Manny but he hasn't so even that's a lowball offer yet Manny has said he would already accept that. Also ShowTime and HBO said they would work together yet Floyd is saying it has to be on ShowTime. For what reason? Its only another roadblock. He is going to try to wiggle his wife beating self out of this fight I guarantee it and then will come up with a bogus excuse like Manny wouldn't accept 35 million and that's more than he's ever made! Meanwhile he would be making 90 million and it would be the biggest lowball offer in history and Floyd walked away from 60/40 which is more than Floyd deserves. Only mumbling I've heard from that have been Manny fans. It's not substantiated and based off of Mayweather not wanting to fight Maidana in horse hair gloves because of that 1 bogus looking pair of MX Everlast. If you can find a link with him saying that recently I'll gladly stfu.

Even if it was true it's his traditional right as the A-side so why wouldn't he play ball and try to flex his muscle? That's why you negotiate.

Another offer turned down by Top Rank. Just listen to them -- they absolutely don't want the fight. No reason for it not to be done in May yet they're all (and HBO) pushing another fight for that date. Why? Three times, Manny. No longer blaming Arum for this. Saying Floyd is A side vs Manny and that means Manny should just accept all terms is like saying cotto is A side vs Canelo so Canelo should accept a 20 percent split and all the other ****** demands. Canelo is only right behind cotto in terms of popularity just as Manny is only right behind Floyd and also Manny is way more popular worldwide and would generate more foreign revenua than Floyd could ever dream about. When mike Tyson fought Lennox Lewis and evander holyfield mike Tyson was the huge ppv draw and they both got 50/50 splits. Well here pacquiao is also a huge ppv draw almost neck in neck with mayweather and way more popular worldwide so why wouldn't he deserve 50/50 when he generates about the same revenue. Any offer less than 60/40 is just a duck attempt and excuse to avoid mamny and yet hes already been quoted as saying he will offer mammy less than 40 million which is more like a 75/25 offer and his fans are eating it up.

At least he put an actual number (which they never said wasn't true), why are Top Rank afraid to put out any information about the fight. They keep saying they are doing everything to make the fight but never say what exactly.

Roach keeps leaking information that benefits his side, but this dude is not at the negotiation table (neither is Manny). There were rumors that Floyd and Showtime wanted a 2 fight deal (Roach mentioned this on an article here a while back, and was against it), but now all of a sudden he is for it (they don't even know what they want). Just put your demands out there in the public and let the other side respond. The fans will decide if it is reasonable or not.

Negotiations aren't done through the media. What espinosa apparently offered wasn't denied nor was it proven and confirmed, so to me it's bullshiet. And when was roach against a two fight deal? Why would be be against two big ass pay days? Show me a link, cause I read boxing news everyday and never came across an article stating that.

Stop acting like we know anything about the negotiations because we have no clue. Both sides are obviously going to make it look like the other doesn't want the fight then they go fight a couple more no hopers in their next fights as usual.

Get a arbitrator in the room, let him hash out the numbers so it's fair to both sides and iron out the smaller details themselves (gloves,ring size etc...)
Neither side has wanted this fight until now, both have had options other the each other up until this point. If It doesn't get Made by the end of January then we will never see it. That we all should be able to agree on.
