So of the many boxers whom have boxed in the modern era the only name you come up with is JCC...i'll humor this, in which case let's say that makes jones number two in the modern era behind JCC, you mean to tell me that if he's number two in the modern era he wouldn't be top 5 all time?

And here are the hard numbers in case you didn't know..

    JCC(108-6-2) opponents (2597-536-81) 22-5avg. only 37 title fights...31%
    RJJ (49-4) opponents (1385-244-40) 26-5avg. 28 title fights 53%

this isn't even close...even with that padded record of bums this isn't even close.....who else do you have? and I could go even deeper and tell you who's worth mentioning that their opponents beat..."
goo post man good K for you.
    I would say Chavez

Jones a 4 division champion.JCC a 3 division champion.Jones beat Bernard Hopkins at 160.He beat James Toney at 168.He was a dominant champion at 175 beating fighters such as Montell Griffin, Julio Gonzalez, Clinton Woods, and Antonio Tarver. Both Gonzalez and Woods held titles post Jones loss.He moved up to hw and dominated John Ruiz to became a hw title holder.Chavez held titles from 130 to 140.He beat Edwin Rosario, Hector Camacho, and Meldrick Taylor twice even if the first was a terrible stoppage.I think that considering Jones has beaten two future hof members Toney and Hopkins and was a dominant champ at lhw and went up to hw and won a title he should rank higher.

by skills and style I like Roy Jones but by legacy it would be JCC.

I think he may opened the doors to mexicans into the world of boxing.

Man this is next to impossible. I'm going to give the slight edge to Roy....but by a small margin.
