    WBA/WBO super bantamweight champion Guillermo Rigondeaux (14-0, 9KOs) finally went face to face with his upcoming opponent Hisashi Amagasa (28-4-2, 19KOs). Rigondeaux is already in Japan and continues to get himself in shape. He defends his title against Amagasa on December 31st from the Bodymaker Colosseum in Osaka. The two fighters met during Rigondeaux's open workout for the local press members of Japan. Like many others who faced him, Amagasa has a good size advantage over the two-time Olympic gold medal winner.

              Probably because he is wafer thin and can't maintain his body temperature unless working out or wrapped up.

                      I bet Rigondeaux is enjoying his time training in Japan. I'd be down to go to Japan to fight against some random for 500k as well. Good to see the master get back in the ring though.

                              We shouldn't make fun of Amagasa....at least he has the guts to fight Rigo. Unlike most of the more highly ranked fighters who shamelessly duck the Cuban star.

                                      Rigo by tko !!!! Easy 500 000$ for him , since santajoke , mares and the likes don't want to fight him .

                                      Nice exposure for my man in Japan , their tv came to miami and did lots of interviews and photos ..... I will call him now " the samurai rigondeaux " .

                                      Man , that Japanese fighter looks like he will die by a Rigo body shot ...
                                      But this guy aint scared , he is fighting ... Tall as hell .
