Because these losers have become so invested in Floyd Mayweather and spent so much time bending and twisting to defend him that they have also become Al Haymon fans, so they now defend the model Al Haymon is using to screw over boxing fans because of their Mayweather fandom.

It's the same reason Pacquiao fans defend Bob Arum no matter how much he screws us. Their fandom of the fighter is so dependent that they latch on to everything involving those fighters.

You'd think a boxing fan would be against a fighter fighting crap opposition for huge paydays, since it means those fighters won't actually fight good fights. Instead they're celebrating it.
