I personally have it close for 5-6 rounds then i think Pascal will run out of gas, that's when i think Kovalev will take over the fight winning a 12 round decision.I don't think he stops Pascal.
Does anyone give Pascal a chance against Kovalev?

Sure. Pascal is a good fighter in the upper tier around his weight.
I think the Krusher will KO him, but Pascal ain't anyboy's can, so we'll see.
Should be interesting.Comment

I don't think Pascal will but Kovalev has never been truly pushed in a physical sense. B-Hop tested his mental approach and Kovalev proved he had the patience for that but B-Hop did not do that much to him.
I don't really think Pascal is the guy (just not the right abilities and attributes) that is going to push Kovalev in that way but it is not entirely impossible as he is still a quality fighter.Comment

Has Kovalev ever been against a fighter of Pascal's caliber? Regarding speed? And didn't Kovalev legs went wobbly for a short moment in his fight against Hopkins? (i don't remember the round, i haven't re-watched the fight)
Pascal got power but not (Kovalev/Stevenson type of power) but he has power through his speed.
Speed kills.
Pascal got a nice chance especially with Roy Jones Jr in his corner and having a 12 round under his belt against Carl Froch.
Pascal knows how to win and knows what losing is.
Kovalev knows he can win but never tasted defeat.
To be continued.
I pick Pascal but i'm uncertain of which way he could win tho.Comment

Anyhow I'll bet some points on a Kovalev victory when fight time comes around, if you care to back that hunch.Comment

If the Gameplan is trying to use Speed Advantage and just use Backfoot Fighting the entire fight and fight like he is just terrified of his Power, then Pascal gets knocked out late
However, if Pascal mix things up and do some work INSIDE to go with him using movement and timing, then he could be a match up nightmare for Kovalev. I think INSIDE is where you disrupt Kovalev, but like against B-Hop, Kovalev showed that he can keep his opponent from getting inside and maintain his distance
60/40 leaning towards KovalevComment

Of course he has a chance.
He has Roy Jones in his corner, and the crowd will be on his side. The Canadian officials will be there for him as well.
And Pascal's a quick, crafty, well-rounded boxer. He's actually a more difficult challenge for Kovalev than the limited Stevenson with his big left hand but not much else.Comment
