He has a chance, but it's not a good chance.

He has questionable stamina, low output, worse technique, and mediocre defense. Not exactly a good formula against a high volume, crushing puncher with superior technique

Pascal has a big chance. I dont know if Kovalev has ever face anyone as fast as Pascal.

Pascal is fast but he's going to go into survival mode after a couple of rounds I think.

Pascal will feel Kovalev's power and Pascal will be in there to survive.


That's what will happen with EVERY Kovalev opponent til the day he retires undefeated, undisputed champion.


Too much skill, too much perfect timing and accuracy to go along with his sledgehammer power. It's just to much. He has the complete offensive package.

I will say this one more time..... There is not ANYONE from here on out who will do anything more then try to survive and collect their paycheck and go home to their wife and kids against Kovalev. Trust me.

I do. This will be a more dangerous hopkins for kovalev than hopkins was. Pascal is strong and has power and he can explode from time to time. He could catch kovalev because kovalev is a very offensive fighter.

Having said that I expect kovalev to wear pascal down and probably stop him late. The early rounds are going to be dangerous for kovalev but then pascal gasses and takes a beating.

I actually give him a good chance. Kovalev is slow, Pascal has better speed and reflexes plus a better chin.

This fight will be very competitive. Even as a big KOvalev fan, I can't fathom how some people are saying it's an easy win for KOv. It's his biggest challenge yet.
