Floyd Isn't Leaving Vegas; His Fire Insurance is He Owns Vegas, Judges, Referees
And he owns the Nevada Athletic Commission. In the case of a close fight, Floyd makes sure financially he is favored in all aspects of a fight. Truly a home field advantage. Floyd not only is scared to fight Manny, Floyd is afraid to leave home. Floyd doesn't knock anybody out (2 guys in 9 years!), so he's dependent on judges & referees to favor him in each fight. He can control that no better than at home where he can payoff anyone. Floyd isn't fighting Manny for any amount of money.Leave a comment:

Shh shhhh...no logic allowed in here.Ray Rice and Adrian Peterson got dropped from sponsers just with allegations of abuse. Floyd has pleaded guilty and done time for his indiscretions.
When he did and At&t spot a few years back the company came out and said they were not endorsing Floyd but rather a boxing event he just happened to be a part of.
The President invited Pacquiao to the White House during a campaign year, pretended to not even know who Mayweather was in an interview.
No I don't think Floyd would be able to get any major endorsement, he is too toxic and has a propensity to break laws and and have to defend his support of Ray Rice in a major cable interview with Rachel Nicols just days before his last fight. No major company is willing to take that risk. I work in PR, I know that game well.
That's why he resorts to making his own TMT shirts that look like they were printed up at a local mall on a Hanes T.
Plus there's the whole, Floyd-still-managed-to-lose-money-on-his-last-fights thing.Leave a comment:

Anyone else get the feeling Floyd just doesnt really want to fight Pacquiao for whatever reason. The investment group from Abu Dhabi of the United Arab Emirates has confirmed it’s upped its already record-setting offer to Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Mayweather Promotions to fight Manny Pacquiao during the first half of 2015 to an unprecedented $120 million.
“The media has been speculating the offer has gone up $10 million to a guaranteed $120 million, and they’re right,” said M. Akbar Muhammad [who previously worked with Don King], a long-time boxing executive and one of the principals in the Abu Dhabi-based group, which plans to host the event there during the first half of 2015.
