Mares needs to go back down to 122. Not as loaded and I still think he is too small for 126.

Gonzalez is the weakest champ at 126. Trust me when I say this...but Walters will crush him with ease!!! Gonzalez fighting style is Mexican but his weak weak is not Mexican.

I highly doubt your statement. Gonzalez is the only vet amongst the 126 champions, he has fought and seen evey style and has faced he elite in their prime, great fighter. He could dismantle Gradovich easily, could possibly hand Loma his second loss and has enough power and technique to KO Walters(if he could tuck his chin in long enough). His style isn't "Mexican", he is not a face first brawler so idk wtf you are talking about.

Jhonny is dangerous for first few rounds but Come on he wouldn't beat loma or walters

Jhonny has a decent set of skills and his power is destructive, he has more than a punchers chance against both fighters. I see Loma vs Jhonny as a 50/50 and Walters vs Jhonny more of a 60/40 for Nicholas due to his enormous power and Jhonny's fragile chin. I know Jhonny won't be able to take too many blows from Walters but how many shots could Walters take from a firecracker like Jhonny?

So that's why we are hearing about a fight with Mares vs Santa Cruz in May. In my honest opinion I would rather watch Mares vs Gonzalez 2, but Mares is ducking Gonzalez and it's pretty clear that he is.
Gonzales iced this dude in the first round. If Mares wasn't one of the draws in the division we wouldn't even be talking rematch. Gonzales should just move on.
