So much so that even before the rematch was announced Pacquiao had said he didn't see the need for one cause everyone knows he won. So now one good win over someone you've already beat gets you fighter of the year? Not in my book.

A good choice. I really don't see how people can say Pacquiao should have been the FOTY. He won a second fight that most saw the first his win; and the second fight was against an opponent that should have never been in the same ring a Pacquiao. Most every fan and writter saw the Algeri fight as a bogus fight, and people want to reward him for it... please.

To be serious, I wouldn't be surprised if (Fat) Dan would name the Pacquiao/Algeri fight as fight of the year.
