As much as i don't like jmm, he has been here since the 90's and is in the top 10 p4p...along with floyd of course..

You could probably even throw bhop in there, but im not sure he ranks on the current p4p rankings...

JMM was doing some work at that point but he wasn't P4P until much later on he was one of those unknown under rated tough guys back then. Rafael was much higher thought of early on in that regard.

Jmm was not top 10 p4p until 2004

Yep..amazing how that worked out..but it is forgotten that his brother was a p4p fighter as well..in 2005 Juan was #7 and Rafael was #8

Yeah rafa had beat tim austin and "too sharp"x2 definately proppeled him to the best bantamweight in the world at that time, but jmm was fighting in the 90's and is on the current p4p list, rafa has since retired... i think that also answers larrys' question, although i know he is talking about floyd.

[QUOTE=The Gambler1981;15220256]Should be is not reality, I don't base in anything in my life off the way it should be. It is how it is and how it could be.

I certainly don't call Floyd anything other than great, because that is what he is. I think it is an impossible task to be called anything like that with any accurately just too many differences across the span of "ever". I don't mind Floyd calling himself that and having pride in what he has done, and I expect boxers in similar positions to do the Muhammed Ali act.

You do know coulda, whoulda, shoulda includes should~ which you yourself said doesn't apply.

Floyd beat quality opposition, he didn't beat everyone but who he didn't fight (with 1 notable exception) doesn't diminish what actually took place. In comparison to his peers especially.

What you call reasons to downgrade him could just as easily be called out as the exact same thing. Every fight you have a reason why that wasn't good enough or wrong in some way, or not what you feel stacks up. Do you not see what you are doing?[/QUOTE

Ok so let me simplify this. We should be praising Floyd being p4p, with decent comp, and no all time great wins why
