Didn't Sam Peter knock Wlad Klitschko down 3x's in their fight but still lost? A fighter is defined by adversity, Wilder might be good, but his opposition has not gotten him prepared for no title. great post, i agree.....i think stiverne has a lot more boxing skill than Wilder, and i also agree that mentally he's on another level, it would be great to see an american heavyweight crowned WBC champ but i don't think Wilder is the right guy, when Wilder's power isn't doing anything for him in the fight what's he gonna do? that's my main question

I think he is right, Wilder is the equivalent of a big strong guy on the street. He has no boxing craft whatsoever and has been manufactured very carefully but is now in with a very live opponent who can also punch and will ko him easily.

He kept true to his word. I believe he will again against Wilder. Feasting on bums isn't exactly the best way to bring up a fighter when they're not naturally gifted. Wilder may have the tools but I believe he lacks the experience.
