Comments Thread For: Stiverne: It Will Be a Short, Painful Night For Wilder!

Heavyweight sensation Deontay Wilder has vowed to shock the world by taking the WBC world heavyweight title from Bermane Stiverne next month.

Unbeaten Wilder, who has so far stopped all of his 32 oponents and is yet to go beyond four rounds in a six-year professional career, faces his toughest assignment so far against Stiverne, who won the title by beating Chris Arreola in six rounds last May.

Wilder stepping up from D- to A level opposition in one large leap isn't going to help him one iota in his attempts to win world gold.I hope Wilder is being paid well,as this is his cash out fight.or maybe they can find him another 30 stiffs and he can operate under an alias, some of his fans are that fückin ****** I don't doubt they'd buy into him again, all he'd need is a wig.

I do understand that Wilder has been fighting class c and d fighters, but Wilder is the truth. Plus I have saw Stiverne appeared to be hurt quite a few times, and trust me, Wilder is gonna hurt him, I'd give it the 2nd round.

              Stiverne going to sleep.

Ko's do not equel the truth when you are ko'ing bums! Boxing is mental as well as physical and Wilder has false confidence. So what if Stiverne has been hurt on multiple occassions. Didn't Sam Peter knock Wlad Klitschko down 3x's in their fight but still lost? A fighter is defined by adversity, Wilder might be good, but his opposition has not gotten him prepared for no title. Stiverne knows his makeup, Wilder can't comment because he hasn't faced adversity, gone any rounds, made any adjustments, so he cn keep hyping himself up, but deep down inside he is scared to death

                    Excellent post.

Wilder has literally no idea what he is getting into, that is fear in itself, fear of the unknowing,or maybe he does.either way he be showing a united front,he can talk all the smack he likes but deep down he be feeling the nerves.
