WBA 'regular' junior welterweight champion Jessie Vargas (26-0, 9KOs) is already getting himself ready for a potential fight with WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao in the first half of 2015.

Top Rank's CEO Bob Arum, who promotes both Pacquiao and Vargas, is trying to make a fight between the Filipino star and Floyd Mayweather Jr. According to Vargas, Top Rank assured him of being a "Plan B" possibility to face Pacquiao.
