How is Frank Bruno genuinely remembered? How would he fare today?

Frank seemed to have a "very good" career. His only losses coming to TysonX2, Lennox Lewis, and Tim Witherspoon. How would he fare in today's heavyweight circle. I'm assuming he beats everyone but Wlad, but interested in hearing others opinions?

    Good rugged fighter...

If around today, I think he would be a contender..

I think wlad and Povetkin are the only ones that could beat him..

Bruno vs haye would have been huge huge huge money in the UK

I only know him for getting destroyed by Tyson in 1996. When I was 11. Or was that 1995?

I also read he had a nervous breakdown because of it. That's how he is remembered in my age group. I'm 29. Most 29 year olds don't even know who the **** he is. I hope that answers your question.

With that being said, he would probably be a champion in today's lackluster HW division.

Frank seemed to be a pretty straight forward style with a so so chin.

Lewis-Bruno is one of the most underrated heavyweight fights ever. Bruno gave Lewis everything he could handle. Great fighter.

He was a good fighter but soon as he was hit and hurt, he would freeze up and there was usually no way back.

On the right night he could have probably give a lot of great fighters some trouble for as long as he lasted.

In the first fight with Tyson (late 80's maybe?) didn't he hit Tyson with a really good shot and seem to have some effect on Tyson right at the end of a round? Unless i'm just imagining this happened. I know he was giving Lewis problems in their fight.

He's probably a bit underrated in a way, he definitely wasn't a bum and would be easily one of the best in todays heavyweight division, no problem. Although that isn't really saying much...Also he was always in fantastic shape, not like todays flabby fighters. He might actually have had too much muscle. Looked more like a bodybuilder at times.

Lewis-Bruno was a good fight. Bruno's chin and stamina always seemed to be a bit of an issue.
