    Why hate Deontay Wilder?

Now, first of, I know that he hasn't smashed any top competition. In fact, he has beaten relatively weak opposition, except for Malik Scott. However, why do people hate him so much?

He is entertaining to watch. Not a small fat pink guy, but a tall shredded black guy with both speed and serious power. He got all the ingredients needed to bring attention back to the heavyweight scene, yet, people almost seem like they're HOPING that Stiverne crushes him... Why?

Do you find Wilder arrogant? Is it because he's black/American? Do you not like wild fighters and prefer technical fighters? Why hate him?

After that clear Scott dive, the laughable soft opposition up until now, the clear lack of anything other than a right hand what is there to like? There are forces at play trying to create a manufactured star in him.

It's not hateful to think that Wilder isn't a very good fighter. We know he has power, he hasn't shown anything else and typically when a guy has a record like 32 (32) - 0 and has fought no one it typically means his handlers don't trust him against better competition (this isn't always the case but most of the time it is).

I look at the guy and I think, the only attribute he brings to the table is a long, one punch KO straight right. That's it. Thats not hate, I just don't think he has anything else. Its a very very good right hand I will give Wilder that but that is it.

Cuz he a bruva! Dem white @$$ chumps be scurred!!

Seriously though... I don't think his skin color has anything to do with it, at least not with most people. As others have said, they find him highly questionable as a fighter. Thats not the same as hate. I'm not sold on him yet. The Stiverne fight will answer a lot of questions about him.

I could of swore you were run out of boxingscene. You're like herpes, you may go aqay but you'll be pulsating on someone's **** in due time.

There are question marks surrounding Wilder. Until those questions are answered, he will have doubters which is more than reasonable. However, there are users on this board who will hate on an fighter of Wilder's ilk because they put race and nationality above all else(Junior Gong, Daylyt).

I almost want to like wilder. He's always in good shape, has good power and got pretty far in the ams all things considered. But he is clearly being but up as something he is not. Even fury has better skills than him. He looks clumsy at times and his right hand is pretty much the only thing keeping him competitive. What bothers me is that he doesn't seem to have developed skill wise for someone with 30 or more fights. If he had a more Tommy hearns-esque style he could become a real monster but sadly he doesn't. He seems like a respectable guy when he isn't trash talking. If he used his reach more and developed some decent footwork then he could become something special. If he beats Stiverne then I'll take notice but right now he doesn't seem like that much

ive met him once and he seems like a good guy. i'm rooting for him to be the real deal because he is just what the heavyweight division needs. it could really help the sport if he's legit.
