So instead of just accepting the date like any B-side in no position of power would, he'd rather stall the negotiating process of the fight. He's not trying to call Floyd's bluff. He's just trying to be in control and calling the shots, but he knows he has no power to get the terms he wants as the B-side against Floyd, so he'll resorts to do what he does best and sabotage the fight from happening because Manny is too gullible/****** to do anything about it. It has proven to be an advantageous date. People in here are seriously trying to argue that the biggest fight of this generation shouldn't try to maximize their revenue by using a date that is a proven moneymaker. Either Pacquiao or Mayweather has fought on Cinco De Mayo weekend 7 of the last 8 years. This is just absurd.

A few years back before renewing his contract he could of left Arum, it would of opened him to more fights outside of Top Rank at the time and he wouldn't have to give his promoter such a big cut of his purse, why did he sign with him again? Bob hasn't screwed him in fights like his old promoter. In the pac morales 1 fight the promoter accepted morales demand for pac not to wear his cleto reyes gloves, ex... floyd-maidana everlast mx gloves situation, where floyd said no to NSAC approved gloves.

Come on bro stop reaching. Think about it for a sec. If arum really had a problem with that specific date, why didn't he mention it, YEARS AGO, when they were in negotiations in the past?
