Yeah, I mean Stevenson what does in there doesn't look great to the observer but he is a combination of great power and being solid in other areas even if not eye catching or special.

I think Stevenson is solid if a bit predictable at times.

Kovalev would make him fight a bit differently and it would be up to him to adapt.

An absolutely phenomenal fight. I put it right there with Pac/May or Golovkin/Ward (back when it was viable), Garcia/Matthysse, Donaire/Rigondeaux, etc.

It's just a really high level fight, man. It really doesn't get much better.

That is a good point about Stevenson, he doesn't have a "usual" thing he tries to do every single time like Wlad lets say.

He is hard to prepare for because you don't know what you will be hit with and he carries power in both hands.

Kovalev showed a bit more patience and craft than I previously thought he had against Hopkins but its a good fight that needs to happen and it has no clear favorite.

BTW I was really hoping for Edwards to upset Dirrell, knew it was unlikely but would have been fantastic.

Don't know where he goes from here, he isn't going to fight his brother for the WBC belt, Froch is looking for a good payday before retiring so that rematch won't happen, Abe is probably going to stay in Germany so IDK if Dirrell would want to go there where they will legally allow Abe to hit a downed opponent. Ward is his buddy and he is for the most part retired and just doing HBO broadcast.
