Deontay Wilder has heard the criticism of his level of opposition before, but he believes that one of his 32 wins, all by knockout, came against someone far better than anyone else Bermane Stiverne’s faced.

“They go off of one opponent. They go off of beating Chris Arreola, a brawler. They go off of him and say they paid their dues,” Wilder said on a Dec. 18 media conference call in advance of his fight with titleholder Stiverne on Jan. 17 on Showtime. Stiverne defeated Arreola twice, once by decision in April 2013 and once by technical knockout in May 2014 [Click Here To Read More]

Wilder didn't even "beat" Malik Scott. Scott threw one flicking jab to the body and went down from a gust of air. It was a joke.

And I bet Arreola would beat Malik Scott.

Arreola came in real close, backed Stiverne into the ropes and got caught by counters during the exchange.

My question is what if Wilder keeps his distance and Stiverne can't land the counters?

While I don't agree, Malik Scott is a decent heavyweight with skill. Pretty sure he could beat a lot of the guys on Stiverne's resume. I have no doubt he'd beat everyone on Wilder's resume as well.
