What is Bob Arum's problem? Mayweather-Pacquiao. Biggest fight. Everything else should be secondary. Reading/listening to his quotes since Mayweather called them out, it's like he's resigned himself to just refusing to make the fight and not caring what anyone thinks. It's sad to see this selfish man do this. But ultimately, it's up to Manny. Does he really want the fight or is he content fighting the Algieri's and Vargas' of the world?

He's not serious about the fight according to ppl yet he goes over espinoza's head. Go figure, I guess a boss goes directly to a big boss to not do business...not sure what galaxy ppl live in or where he was wrong to say neither of these fighters are mexican to want to hawk themselves on that holiday. When has this Les Moonves guy actually acknowledged ever talking to Arum? it would have made more sense to talk to Espinoza because thats what he's hired for. I have no reason to believe that the Chairman of CBS is going to spend a lot of time discussing one fight when he oversees countless networks.

As far as the date goes, Mayweather has been fighting on that date for years, and now he should step off because a Mexican wants it? I guess if an American wants the venue that Canelo/Cotto choose they should have to step off strictly because of nationality.

Lastly, as it applies to the bold, I find it ironic that you do exactly this same thing, except in favor of Arum/Pac yet ridicule it.

They are not going to turn on Arum, they see Arum as a EXTENSION of Pacquiao.

The only time they came close to hating Arum was when Arum robbed Bradley, but even that only lasted temporary.

Funny thing about it, is he never ONCE has mentioned any issues with non Hispanic fighters fighting on Cinco De Mayo, now its a new issue.
