People would have complained that he's American if I had him in there. There's a lot of good "Mexican-American" prospects too.

Frankie Gomez and Julian Ramirez are 2 of my favorites, .

Oscar Valdez. BTW NSB. Oscar Valdez is better than Verdejo. Verdejo is just getting more of a push because PR is desperately searching for the Next Trinidad. Well Newsflash. Verdejo certainly isn't that and nor was Cotto. Garcia has the potential to be because all he does is wins. He beats the fighters people say he isn't supposed to beat.

Call me crazy. But I really think benavidez is still thegoods. He hung in there last week and was extremely competitive with arguably the best at140. He's only 22 and if you don't think he learned alot from that ure smoking that good but of the list gilberto is the most impressive.

that's how far off this place is, man. that you'd have to premise this post with a "Call me crazy." for something that makes just absolute sense. jose was in there with a freaking LEGIT dude as a 22 year old and while it was hotly contested jose didn't wilt and displayed that it.

i still think he has the most upside out of all these cats. i also really like valdez and zurdo.

I agree with you. And even more so that jose asked for the fight. Top rank was ready to keep giving him lesser challenges which was fine with him only being 22 and the hand injury. He wanted to test himself and learn and guess what he held his own and did alright. He's only gonna get better watch

He's on there, Carlos "Chuko" Diaz at the bottom. Youngest prospect on there too.

My score for the Herrera vs. Benavidez fight was 117-111 for Herrera, but I'm with you, a loss to Herrera shouldn't take anything away from Benavidez. I saw flashes of his great potential in the fight. I just hope he knows that he really lost the fight, otherwise he might not learn as much from it had he actually been given the loss.

And he's not on the list because he's "Mexican-American". People on here love to b*tch about that s**t.
