I'm down with whatever is going to create good fights, so it sounds cool..just I'm not sure about saying 'hey we're all fighting in this tournament hoping we will get Floyd" like some subjugated clowns. I would hope the tournament would just let the fighters get their shine on their own merit.

The proposal, which the WBC approved, is to have the top eight challengers - at 147 and 154 - to face each other in a tournament format until one man, in each division, to challenger for Mayweather's title.

A tournament to facilitate floyd's retirement.. Stretch the tournament as long as possible so he can hang them up and leave fans high and dry

So Mayweather bought time until Pacquiao wasn't what he used to be, and now the other top contenders will beat each other up so Mayweather can coast a boring, 12 round decision into retirement.

        Nice.

Still curious how Floyd gets to keep titles at both weights when I feel like other fighters have been stripped for having the same strap in different weight classes.

STFU Froch fckin lost to Direll.

Looking back on it the super 6 tournament itself was weak. Frickin Arthur Abraham (mediocre) Jermain Taylor (ruined) Direll (soft) Allen Green (haven't been seen since) Johnson (65 yrs old)

Bika probably beats this group of underacheivers and has beens!

Look, if you want to come out and say that you care about Floyd more than the sport itself, just say it already.

You don't need to project it onto other peoples post, just spell it out for all of us.

People do understand thia is a good thing right? Floyd is retiring. Those belts will be vacant. Better t clear the picture up sooner as opposed to later. This is boxing moving on without Floyd and people are still complaining.

Sounds good to me. If we can't get Manny vs Floyd then F them. I like the idea of having everyone else fight each other.
