Logic tells me it's only a matter of time before someone does the ''full job'' on Brewster, he's been outboxed too many times now, and someone that is focussed with good boxing ability should get the job done one of these times, even a ''white boy'' lol.
No one beats Brewster, only HW with a chance is Toney. and beleive it or not Guinn.
I'm given this guy a chance to knock off Brewster, though hes a definative underdog. The innactivity will probably hurt Sergei a bit, he hasnt fought since Dec. '04, against Guinn. Hes probably been waiting for his big pay day/title shot, which almost came against Byrd. Hopefully hes got a more farsighted approach to this fight so hes not just showing up for a pay day, but looking to raise his status/marketability with a victory.
Can Liakovich beat Brewster? Sure, its boxing, so anything is possible. But I would favor Brewster becasue of his recent competition and performances. He seems hungrier than ever, and has very good power.
Plus I think that Sergei isn't anything special but it should be a fun fight to watch. I say Brewster stops him in 8.
He has no power to keep Brewster from charging right in. If he was a little stronger, then he might be able to put on a Meehan type of performance with the jab/right hand. But I don't see it. And even if he DID, Don ain't letting him get a decision. So I wouldn't worry much about the belt changing hands. It won't. Don stands to make too much money in a Wlad-Brewster unification in Germany.

It seems like your implying that King fixes fights, thats a pretty big allegation with no proof. Do u really think every Don King promoted fight is a setup?
If u think this then u need to see the Judah-Baldomir fight. A fight in which a Judah win makes the Mayweather PPV actually legit and for the undisputed title. A fight in which if King were to fix any fight, than this would be it. But the result is a SD for Baldomir.
Some of u guys with this "King fixes all his fights" crap really need to give it a rest. But I do agree with your anaylsis of the fight.
I like Lamon a lot. He was the first interview I ever did. But don't act like he can't lose to a white boy. Just look back on his fight with Kali Meehan. No walk in the park. And if anyone in that fight was close to getting KTFO, it was my boy Lamon.
I got Lyakhovich by decision. I see him being tough on Lamon on the inside with his short uppercuts. Regardless who wins this fight, it will be a good one.
anyone who can box can beat brewster, but lamons power is an equalizer somewhat, can likeasandwich beat him? maybe but if luan cant i dont like this guy can either
