      I'd like to see how mainstream sports would do on premium tv. You'd see a lot of 2 million type audiences, unless it was the NFL.

      HBO at this point pays very little for boxing compared to other sport contracts. It's a steal for them.

          HBO has the bigger boxing fanbase built up over many years, not to mention the bigger subscriber base in general. Showtimes numbers for what they are and their new found goals in boxing are impressive.

                The only fighter to come close to 2M over the past three years is Chavez Jr, when he fought Rubio.

                    hbo is killing them. imagine next year when hbo and golden boy start putting fights together instead of just top rank on their network. good luck to showtime.
