Floyd Mayweather, "Showtime taking over boxing"

HBO has 13 of the most viewed fights of the year before Showtime even gets a shout.

Boxing is not a top 10 sport in America. The most watched fight does under 1.4M. Only ten fights seen by more than 1M people.

I'll be really interested to see how Haymon's NBC shows stack up next year.

I can't believe more people watched that Danny Garcia vs Salka farce than Kell Brook vs Shawn Porter or Amir Khan vs Devon Alexander.

What is wrong with you yanks???

This has been an awful year for ratings, fights, everything. Not one fight even came close to 2 million viewers.

Problem is, so much of boxing is shown on premium channels over in the US, it cuts out a large audience.

Interesting a guy that barely ever fights, facing a journeyman was the most watched.

Shotime might be better off creating a new series and using their fighters as actors in it. Zombie Vampire Boxing Serial Killers.
