Saunders is his mandatory and I'm pretty certain Warren has options on Lee due to an agreement made that allowed Lee to fight for the belt.

What do you actually mean by "options"?... It must be something really bad, because it sounds like...

Saunders could have fought Korobov for the WBO title but agreed to step aside in favour of Andy Lee, as long as he (Saunders) was guaranteed first crack at the winner.
So now Andy Lee's first defence must be against BJS, and Frank Warren is BJS's manager and promoter.

Earlier this year when Golovkin-Lee was announced for April I very disappointed and a bit relieved when it was cancelled. The only way I'd be excited to see Golovkin-Lee now is if Golovkin goes to Dublin and fights Lee in May and then goes to London in June and fights Saunders as a promotional build up for a fight with Froch in the fall/winter. But that's four UK fighters in a row and very bad for Golovkin's diet.

seriously andy ****in lee ggg? of all the fights u can make andy lee unification or not that fights a joke i want to see ggg in with someone with some dam defense im sorry but ggg needs to step it up in competition he keeps saying that everyone avoids him but i honestly dont buy it why not fight lamiex that be a fun ass fight if ur gonna fight a puncher fight one who can actually stand in there with ya all ggg wants to fight are over matched or smaller fighters i for one am not buying it anymore. Hes a great fighter i understand that but if he wants to keep pretending hes the boogie man lets ****in see it already. Andy Murray is a good start. If a guy is willing to call out mayweather who is tiny compared to ggg he should be willing to fight guys above him in weight other then chavez jr i dont know maybe im way off base i just want to see him in some fun fights hes entertaining as hell i cant be the only one who wants to see him challenged i mean hell stevens gave him somewhat of a challenge why couldnt lemiex?

I was being a bit facetious with a BJS fight in June just month after the Lee fight. If Golovkin did fight Lee in May, he would be required to make an immediate defense against Saunders. He only took a month between Rosado & Ishida, so Lee in Dublin in May and Saunders in London in July isn't exactly far fetched. Right now his options are a bit bleak if he's insisting on only taking MW fights. Fighting during prime time hours in Europe grows his global brand more because it's friendlier tv hours in Germany, Russia, and UK -big boxing markets where GGG is already pulling in good money.

I think Loeffler knows they won't get Alvarez or Cotto in 2015. Alvarez wants the Cotto fight at 155lbs & said he wants to have two fights at 160 before fighting GGG, so he's already pushing a potential Golovkin fight pass 2015.
