I think Lee would need to do a bit more to create some buzz for a fight with Golovkin, Paddy's Day or no Paddy's Day.

If Lee can win next spring then I think a Canelo fight next September makes a lot of sense for both.

I have the feeling a shot at another middleweight strap could tempt him up to the division limit. Can't see any reasonable explanation to why he's hanging around at 155, it seems Canelo is afraid of no one but one can only think he's avoiding a certain fighter at the division above. Especially if he wins the title off of Cotto..
