People need to understand that Arum could care less about money. He has more money than he could spend in whatever time he has left. He is worth more than Oscar and Floyd combined.
I think for him he would like to see Canelo take Floyd's May 2nd date away just as much. Arum will still be involved with Cotto's side but for Bob its personal. He never forgave Floyd for leaving him and making the biggest PPV fight ever without him. He won't let Floyd beat Manny and have that be a part of his legacy as well. If the fight never happens the narrative will be that Floyd was scared to lose and that will stick with him.

Ok guys answer me this one question. If bob arum is lying and hes not trying to make the fight, why is les moonves confirming that arum is the one trying to get the fight made? Why would he say that and make his fighter mayweather look bad if it weren't true? Does that make any sense whatsoever? And 400k ppv against algieri isn't that bad. He did 450k against Rios and came back and did 800k against Bradley. Again you can't base everything off one fight. 400k again is more than canelo-Lara canelo-angulo cotto-Martinez, bradley-Marquez. He did it all by himself against a no named opponent in Macau. Rest assured he is as popular as ever. Mayweather vs algieri would be lucky to pull in 400k ppv's.

Arum's right. What more needs to be done to make Pac an acceptable opponent for Mr. TBE. Once again Floyd denies every accusation of ducking and leaves the Pac-May debacle at Top Ranks door step like always. What more can Bob do?? Floyd is the one who is going to have to set up and make this fight happen. He needs to want it.
