Most of them have never even boxed before, that is the problem with boxing fans, way too many pretenders out there. #burnmoney.
Who cares if the fans boo...

There's a gulf between ( and the distinction needs to be made) fans that discredit fighters for not being entertaining, and fans who acknowledge boxing ability however like to watch brawls.
AND the ones who only like chess matches.
Funny how it's either the first, or last.
Autism, I tell you.

It would be ridiculous to think, a class fighter like Thurman would simply be able to knock every one of his opponents out.
He fought a cautious, smart fight. And somehow, despite his previous accomplishments as an entertaining boxer-puncher...he's a "scared bum". Who "just runs" now.
Seriously?

Not saying I'd boo a fighter (seems like a ****** thing to do, not like you're going to make the guy cry or something) but if you pay money to go see a sports event you have the right to boo, or sing ****** songs or whatever. So much of boxing promotion is hype and some people are going to feel they've been sold BS if the fight is a stinker.
On the other hand for a lot of the Vegas fights they end up giving away free tickets, presumably to people who aren't really boxing fans. Be interesting to know how much of the negative reaction is from people like that.Comment
