Maidana KILLS this runner. Maidana beat the **** out of Floyd TWICE, and Thurman's defense and movement aren't anywhere near close to that. He gets dropped and smashed like the little sissy he is.

Thurman's style last night was the kind that you can only do by expending alot of energy. He wouldn't be able to keep that up for 12 vs Chino. Soto-Karas jolted the living daylights outta Thurman in the 1st round of their fight, and Marcos hits harder than that.
I'd rather see Thurman vs Alexander or Porter. He wants to go with this style, fine. Let him work his bottom off for a couple fights, see how that works. I'm just not seeing anything amazing here YET. Now if he was involved in a firefight with a serious contender and got the better of it, I'd probably be impressed. But his 'boxing only' style is too much running and not enough fighting.sotokarass had thurman on shaky legs, or spaghetti legs, or doing the bootydew?

I had become su****ious of a change a few fights ago, I started noticing more movement and backpedaling, and last night it reached its peak.
The crowd bood and just like Rigondeaux would do, you ignored them and kept being a coward, so disgusted. I would root hard against you, Maidana will DESTROY YOU. He is a man, you are not. You are a disgrace. TAKE the name off and stop saying KOs for life when you run like a straight up bish.

he wasn't falling all over the place, he regained his balance well under 5 seconds and made karass miss the next 5 or 6 punches. But you can keep trying. That does NOT change the fact marcos ducked thurman cuz "he has too many ko's"

You want to fight Chino and you're struggling with 40 year old nobodies?????????????????????????????????
Thurman has been one disapointment after another after his win over Chaves. Its as if after that fight he just gave up and asked uncle Al for baby food. You can keep the fking belt if thats the kind of fighter you are. No one will want to see you fight anyway.

I think it makes sense for Golden Boy to make this because it makes an exciting fight either way because you know Maidana will go after Thurman and try to take him out. I really don't know who I would pick though because Thurman would have to fight back with Maidanas pressure and I could see either one getting sparked out. Mariana because Thurman is a natural 147lb puncher where Joseito Lopez knocked Maidana down, and Thurman is still a question mark so Maidana is the perfect fighter to put him in deep waters.
