khan has earned his shot ... anybody saying he hasnt is purely hating .. who df is brook anyway , get your a.ss to the back of the bus, you a nobody ... beating alexander in the way he did was more of a statement than pacquiao beating algieri or rios .. hell it was more impressive than pacquiao beating bradley ..
all maidana did to get floyd was beat broner .. khan has paid his dues, hes not a cherry pick, the guy is official at 147 and ill pay for a floyd-khan PPV, thats a highly competitive fight .. if beating maidana, judah , peterson, malignaggi and alexander is not a worthy resume to face floyd , yall just hating too much
but of course the first priority is a floyd-pac fight .. but khan is a legit plan b option .. pacquiaos plan b is jessie vargas
Khan looked great last night. Still don't think he belongs in the May/Pac league but hey who knows?
Brook is coming off a great win but lets not forget - before Porter who'd he beat? I think these 2 fighting makes more sense than any other fight for them tbh. Khan gets a world title shot, Brook gets another name, both get a huge payday. This fight would be huge in the UK. Personally I think Khan would take a UD but who knows.
mayweather/pacquiao- biggest fight boxing has too offer
canelo/cotto-best rivalry boxing has too offer
brook/khan- best fight England has too offer
these are the fights that need too happen for the good of the fighters and the sport. these are the 3 biggest fights that can be made. no other mix and match of these fighters are necessary
Well done Khan.Lets not get carried away, Khan fought to a perfect game plan and I grudgingly have to give respect to Virgil and co. for a well thought out game plan, they did their home work and made him look a limited counter puncher who didn't have a clue on how to cope with the fast in and gone raids that Amir employed so effectively .
Weather Amir would be able to look so effective against a come forward heavy hitter such as thurman who I thought did well against a massively under rated fighter last night is another matter and would he be able to withstand the heavy assaults of the youthful, spiteful Brook .I think we are about to find out.I am now hopeful that the Pac /Floyd fight looks to be in place and I excited by the prospects of Amir really proving his point a welter amongst the real top dogs . ....but please if he belongs there then only fight the top dogs ..only top five fighters now if you really feel you belong... keep a prospective there not all as easy as that.

Alexander has been roughed around by Bradley and Porter, but never out boxed from the outside like that and to win every single round or 11/12 in some cases was something else. Devon is still a 27 year old and not some over the hill once upon a time belt holder. This was certainly more of a statement than Ortiz-Berto or even Guerrero-Berto.
Plus I doubt he is trying to please people like you with whom he can never win regardless of whom he beats.

yes, this is the obvious next fight for both khan and brook.

Slap those 3 on one card and the world may just explode . I agree.
I have a BIG issue with this "Khan has not done enough to earn a shot at the biggest star in boxing." remark.
Mayweather is "the biggest star" according to whom exactly, other than his fans?
To many of us, Pacquiao is the biggest star in boxing, and has been so in the last decade or so, in spite of that robbery decision vs. Bradley and that one-wonder-shot loss to Marquez.
So guys, please be careful on throwing out such statements as calling someone "the biggest star" when you perfectly know there is absolutely no consensus about such an affirmation!

Please don't forget Khan was 3/1 on to win this fight and he won it convincingly as expected.Devon had NO power to keep him from boxing his showcase other fighters have.Khan must prove to 'people like me'( who there are lots of)who in affect pay his wages by buying sky,PPv and boxnation while attending numerous fights around the world.Khan must now keep this roll going and along the way his suspect jaw will be tested more than Devon was ever going to do.Sorry if this ruins your moment but this is how it is.
And who exactly does 'deserve' a shot at mayweather? (Which is a strange concept btw, boxing is all about which fight makes the most financial sense, it always has been).
Khan's biggest wins trump brooks, no doubt, so if thats your measuring stick of who deserves what then that was a weird comment. They also trump maidanas, who apparently 'deserved' 2 shots at floyd!
