Ortiz told Diaz that Perez had some pop -_-

I noticed Ortiz was able to get his distance right and be right on target with his punches unlike his last fight, but during the break after round two he told Joell Diaz that Manny Perez had some pop. This was alarming to me. Perez is a 135 pounder with only 4 KO's wtf?

Ortiz's chin is gone so it's not a surprise.

Not a whole lot you can do when your chin gets cracked, when it's gone it's gone.

Ortiz should have changed trainers years ago. I always felt like his training was terrible. So much attention has been paid to his lack of heart (which is a problem) that people don't see how awful his technique is. The way he used to wing his right hook in combinations and telegraph his jabs was pretty bad. He had all the natural talent in the world. At this point its obviously too late. He will be knocked out again soon.

I didn't even know that he fought.

Ortiz is irrelevant at this point.

Honestly... I'm not trying to be mean or anything... but I feel Ortiz' career is over. Hopefully I'm wrong though.

Ortiz fought on the Showtime Extreme card. Errol Spence Jr., Charlo twin, then Ortiz fought. Errol Spence would beat the **** out of Ortiz. Ortiz is done. Ortiz doesn't have the heart or mental toughness to make it in boxing. I wish we could've got a Rios vs Ortiz fight before the Collazo fight so that Ortiz would've never tried coming back. I mean that headbutt that Ortiz gave Floyd was the most bitch move I've ever seen and I loved the 2 piece he received that put him down afterwards.

He might as well fight Berto after his next fight and then take on Thurman afterward. I think Ortiz can clip Thurman pretty good. These long neck fighters can't take punches well.
