With Loma's hands raised. If Loma made it his mission to get the KO, I think he could. Mares is looking vulnerable to the point where any respectable opponent could upset him. Loma is too talented for current Mares to beat imo.

Something about Mares doesn't look right. Either the Gonzalez ko took a lot out of him or maybe his power isn't as effective at this weight, or both.

You would have to favor Lomachenko.

Mares has always done extremely well against boxers. I don't know how effective Mares would be at 126 against someone like Lomachenko, but I'd give him a solid chance at an upset. He knows how to cut off the ring and works the body extremely well.
