That is a harder fight stylistically than Manny IMHO

Lara is too long, too fast, too fleet of foot and precise. Floyd is not going to beat that guy as basic as he is in a pot-shotting contest.

Lara don't care about forcing the action or boos. Horrible, horrible style match up for Floyd.

Lara will beat Mayweather quite easily especially after seeing how Mayweather has slipped the last 2 fights.

I don't understand the hate on Lara the guy lands punches and defense is really underrated. Since he's Cuban that's why he gets all the hate, if he was American or Mexican we wouldn't hear the end of it on how he's such a master boxer, but he's Cuban so he's boring wtf????

I think Lara would probably win a close fight if the judging was fair. I think Lara would land the straight left often. Mayweather is a terrific boxer but so is Lara and Lara is bigger and younger. I doubt it would be an exciting fight but I would be interested in the fight to see who wins. It's a fight that should happen because Mayweather has been the 154 pound champion forever without defending that title and that's not right. It would be a very high risk low reward fight for Mayweather so he would never take the fight. I am basing my fight prediction on the fight being fought at the legal class limit of 154 with NO CATCHWEIGHT. Lara is too big to fight below 154 and stay at his best just as Canelo was weak at the 152 pound catchweight. If you are the champ then act like the champ and defend your title at the full weight limit.

Some truth here. I understand he moves a lot but how many of his fights have truly been boring? The Molina and Vanes fights - Apart from when Vanes fought Willie Nelson neither of those two have been in an exciting fight.
The Canelo fight in parts.

Hes been involved in some good fights; Smith, Angulo, Williams and so on and the guy fights anyone! Who else in the sport with 22 fights or whatever has fought the likes of Canelo, Angulo, Trout, Molina, Smith, Williams, Vanes and so on.
This guy gets way too much hate! Like all Cubans he will fight anybody has bags of skill and heart. He was even calling GGG out at 160 ffs

Either guy can win tbh.. but Lara is a bit too big for Floyd in all fairness. Floyd is more skilled, size is equalizer.
