Great fight for us , the hardcore , the ones who prefer watching the sweet science , " the hit and not be hit " , art . Lara and floyd can fight at 152 ... Floyd has done it before .
Lara is the one who can really give Floyd a lot of trouble , and could beat him .
    PAC won't , nor khan .

The only guys that can beat Floyd are golovking and Lara , but to be honest , they are 154 , not 147 and they would have size and weight advantage in the fight . But if Lara could make 147 or 152 ... It would be a great technical
    Fight , a beautiful one .

Hit and not be hit .

Golovkin is physically too big - its not necessarily the weight - its the size and physicality that GGG brings to the table - Cotto has the weight but is not as imposing of a figure in the ring! Lara had an exceptional performance against Smith but remember to those that seriously watched the fight, Lara's only real weapon is his Left - A fighter like Floyd will take that left hand away then what? Lara has exceptional footwork, but Smith was following him and not cutting the ring off (this is what gave Angulo much success in their fight) . A straight right down the pike will always be kryptonite against a southpaw.

I'm telling you right now, if there's a guy inside 140-147 who can beat Floyd is Lara, stylistically he would be a nightmare for Mayweather.

Of course is always good to dream, Lara doesn't have the fanbase to make it happen. This would be Floyd's worst PPV on his career if this was to happen.

Nah Floyd does his game better than him. One of only 2 other boxers out there who do. Guerrero would be hard to top as a **** ppv at this stage of his career i doubt anybody including myself have any interest in this fight we all want that mega mega fight already before the end .

Lara fights at 154...I agree he would be problematic for Floyd though.

Floyd ain't landing 80+ punches on a unstationary target like Lara. Also, Mayweather's counterpunching would be completely useless and so on his whole gameplan. Lara's too intelligent to share the same ring with Mayweather

Lara even more so than Pacman has the highest chance of upsetting Floyd, I'd give Lara an 80% chance, dude is an absolute nightmare for Floyd. Lara has longer reach, is fast, accurate, athletic, has decent pop and is one of the best boxers in the game.

I know people would bring up the Canelo comparison but in my opinion that holds no validity as to what'll happen if Floyd were to face Lara.

It truly is amazing when even Floyd haters don't want him in with Lara who has a very high chance of giving Floyd his first official loss. Makes me think they're closet flowmos.

So tell us, what about this fight would be boring then? You don't think the fans who ALWAYS come around to see Floydie lose... you don't think they'd enjoy seeing Floydie get out sped and beat up with those laser fast lefts all night? How could Floydie ever beat this guy? He'd be dominated by a slick, fast, accurate boxer with some power. And Lara would even showboat a bit, especially toward the end of the fight. No, I see a good fight with these 2. Bring it the flek on I say. Then give Pac a shot at him for 2 losses in a row for Floydie. Then retirement, so boxing can get back to staying outta the Duck Free Zone. Years of that from the Head Ducker has damaged the sport that put huge stacks of (basically) undeserved cashish in his pocket.

Speak for yourself bub. PLENTY of fight fans would LUV to see Floydie's mug get pasted for 12 rounds.
