A bit of a stir was caused earlier week when Golden Boy President Oscar De La Hoya proclaimed that Saul "Canelo" Alvarez had agreed on terms to face WBC middleweight champion Miguel Cotto. Many believed that it meant that this showdown was on for May 2nd.

But as they say - it takes two to tango.

Nobody wants to see Mayweather Cotto 2. Floyd won clearly; what's the point?

If Floyd wanted the MW belt he should've fought and beat Sergio, but he didn't...so he gets to rematch a guy he already beat. Please spare me.

There was a point where I was literally drooling for the matchup but Cotto gains nothing out of it now. The Mayweather fight is more attractive.

alvarez is hard headed and forgot the cotto is the a-side. alvared tried to dictate the money,venue,and weight. last time cotto checked. he is the a-side,the more accomplished fighter,and the champion. somebody needs to tell alvared to sit his ass down and earn those rights.
