He might not be after material things but I'm sure he's also not about to give away tens of millions to Floyd. Floyd def deserves a bigger cut of PPV sales but if Floyd is saying Manny deserves no PPV cut like last time it can't be considered anything but a roadblock. Manny deserves at least a 35% cut but 40 would be more fair. If Manny wins, he gets the lions share in the rematch.

I've said it before, but I'm sure Pacquiao's team regularly has meetings with Mayweather and Arum, et. al to discuss strategy regarding this fight.

They planned it all along to be Floyd's last fight. Remember what John Cusack said after he talked to Floyd two years ago:

I don't know what they "deserve." I know what they will get if they don't fight each other and that's what I mean by that alone doesn't determine market value. Mayweather has sold close to 4m PPV's in his last three fights. Pacquiao has sold less than 2m. And Mayweather has earned more on each one dollar for dollar, not just in total. Pacquiao's next option is an epic flop against Vargas while Mayweather will do around 1mil against Khan and even more if he snatches Cotto. That's why I can't see Manny crying over money, not with that outlook. Not if he really wants the fight anyway. The only person who would take umbrage is Arum and that's because a Pacquiao-Vargas fight doing 200K won't be a flop for his pockets.

Manny didn't try to talk sticking points on camera. Floyd clearly said, I offered them 40 mil, they turned it down and now that offer is off the table. Besides that being a horrible start to negotiations, those are 2 very different ways of discussing the fight. One guy wants to get to the negotiating table, the other is using the media to dictate terms because he's Floyd Mayweather and his moronic fanbase will find some unique and deluded way of defending it.
