It will be interesting to see what happens, in some ways there are positives signs like there is an awful lot of smoke making it seems like there is a fire somewhere.
However both sides have been very good and deploying smokescreens so it all looks the same now.
Talk like this is very cheap though and Floyd would say the same thing no matter what to make himself look better. It should be known soon though if the sides actually got serious or not.

Furthermore, he has already done business with Showtime in the past so obviously there is no loyalty to HBO. If it is true that Pacquiao's commitment to HBO expires at the end of this month, why would it need to be on HBO at all?Comment

Im sure Manny wouldn't care. .but if HBO and Showtime AGREED to co-promote, i have a feeling it becomes a roadblock. . Since Floyd seems adamant about it
if he didn't, it wouldn't have been mentionedComment

I haven't heard anyone from HBO or Showtime say they've agreed to co-promote so there's no reason to add in a fictitious scenario to make it seem like Floyd is ducking. A side says Showtime PPV. Shouldn't be an issue.Comment

It has been flying around on here and a different site the last couple days. I have no clue to the validity of it. Also, this Arum statement from last year:
Arum was very clear saying that Manny will remain with HBO:
"Our contract with Manny Pacquiao is clear. We have a contract until the end of 2014, and it provides clearly that his decisions are ours and ours alone. Manny Pacquiao will fight on HBO and HBO pay-per-view from now until as long as our contract is in effect."Comment
